This unit is ideal for diverting gravity flow of materials when it is not critical to have complete sealing between legs or where cutting through a standing column of material is not required.
BASKET DIVERTER FEATURES
Inside the diverter housing, a "basket" is installed on a pivot shaft. This internal basket will direct the material to the discharge leg that has been selected by the position of the actuator.
Body material thickness - 3/16" - up to and including 24" size.
Basket material and throat 240 BHN AR. (Other material construction is available).
Two bolt flange bearings are used to support the basket.
Bolted door for basket removal.
Basket removal door consists of a lining plate, which allows a flush surface on the inside and provides alignment.
Gasketed and bolted access/inspection door or doors are provided where feasible.
Basket throat reduces in size, so that the throat discharges below the sidewalls of the "basket".
Important feature: The "basket" does not leak to closed leg. Also, it does not retain product except for the fugitive dust generated by the free fall of the product passing through the unit.
To date, we have baskets handling the following materials: *Silica sand; *Flyash; Plastic Pellets; *Zinc Dust; Soda Ash; *Cement.
Pebco has found that you can make a "diverter tree", by stacking three (3) Offset Basket Diverters in series. With this set-up, you can achieve a "four-point" discharge diverter. Thus, another product has been added to your PEBCO® product line.
